Useful information to assist you in making the most of the Event App
- Accessing the Main Menu After logging in, you will be taken to the Landing Page with a list of the different, selectable options available. This page can only directly accessible once but the options can be accessed again via the Main Menu button situated in the top left hand corner. On pressing the button the Main Menu will slide out from the left hand side to reveal the available App pages. The current page is the option highlighted, to select a new page simply press the appropriate text. If you wish to close the Main Menu, use the Main Menu button to hide the display.
- The Back button (Android only) Built into the hardware of Android devices is the Back button, usually positioned near the Home button at the bottom of the device. This only has a function in the Event App when returning from an external internet page (i.e. Google Maps, Venue Websites, Resources, Twitter accounts). Also, pressing the Back button twice in quick succession whilst in the App will close the application on the device. In this situation, the Event App will need to be restarted.

Delegate List
To search for a specific delegate, company or job title use the search situated at the top of the Delegate List. Enter at least three characters to begin the search and removing the characters to reveal the full Delegate List.
Selecting a Delegate's field displays further information about them. A Delegate may have either a Twitter, LinkedIn or both logos visible within their fields. This indicates they have supplied these details respectively and will be shown in the details page for each Delegate. There is also the ability to send a Private Message to a desired Delegate. This email will include your contact details but will hide the recipient's until they choose the reply via their own means. Complete a title and main text, submitting the finished article to our server once satisfied. - Internet Connection To enable the full features of the Event App, an internet connection will be required at achieve several key features: - Logging in - Posting to the Forum - Receiving Forum updates - Access to the up-to-date Delegate Lists - Asking a Question to the Panel - Updates to Personal Details The App will continue to operate with the last saved data no connection is established.
- Logging Out As by default, upon exiting the Event App you will remain logged in as the user last to use the App. If you wish to protect your privacy or allow another member to log in, there is a Log Out function found in Main Menu.
- Venue Map Selecting the Google Maps image on the Venue Information page will redirect you to a browser version of Google Maps that can be used for direction to the venue if needed. Using the Back button (Android only) will return you to the Event App.
